I am an existing patient, can I schedule an appointment online?
Yes, if you are an existing patient, you can go to this site: https://provider.kareo.com/dr-jeffrey-mirsky-1 There you will find available times. Click on the time you would like, and answer the brief identifying information. Please select “Cash” in the drop-down menu regarding insurance, as our office does not accept insurance. You can expect an email confirming the appointment 24-48 hours after submittal. There are rare instances where the time you select becomes unavailable between your submittal and our review. If so, we’ll reach out to you to find an alternative time.
Is Dr Mirsky a Board-Certified psychiatrist?
Yes, Dr. Jeffrey Mirsky is a Board-Certified Psychiatrist working in private practice in California. Dr. Mirsky holds medical licenses in both Illinois and California.
Do you have a cancellation policy?
Yes, we do have a 24 hour cancellation policy. You can call the office directly at 530-563-6580, or email us at staff@jmirskypsych.com to cancel/reschedule your appointment.
If I call with a question for the administrative assistant or doctor, when can I expect a call back?
If you leave us a voicemail with your name and phone number, you can expect a call back within the next 24 hours.
Does Dr. Mirsky accept insurance?
Dr. Mirsky is out of network with insurance companies. However, depending on your out of network coverage with your insurance plan (excluding federal insurance), patients can receive from 0-80% reimbursement and may need to meet their out of network deductible for reimbursement. We take care of all reimbursement paperwork and submissions the same day as your session so that you can easily submit to insurance for reimbursement purposes.
How I do schedule an intake appointment?
You can reach the office at 530-563-6580 to schedule an intake appointment.
How long are the appointments?
Intake appointments are 60 minutes, and follow-up appointments are 30 minutes.
Does Dr. Mirsky offer office visits?
Dr. Mirsky will be practicing through the telemedicine model in the state of California. All the appointments will be conducted virtually through our EHR system, Kareo.
